• survey? okay!

  Wasn't sure if I had the motivation to write a post today, but then I saw a few people had done this survey. And I haven't done a survey in a while. And I love surveys. And I love starting sentences with the word "And."

  So here goes.

  1: Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?
  Whatever. Currently one is open and the other is closed. I have to close the bedroom door though.  
  
  2:Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?
  Nah. They never have good conditioner. My hair is picky about that.
  
  3:Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?
  Out. If I'm at a hotel and the blankets are tucked in I have to untuck them. I feel trapped.
  
  4:Have you ever stolen a street sign before?
  No. But my parents for some reason have a one-way sign in their garage. Not sure where it came from.
  
  5:Do you like to use post-it notes?
  OMG. I am a post-it-note addict. Seriously, my desk at work is COVERED with them.
  
  6:Do you cut out coupons but then never use them?
  Yes. And then I find them 2 weeks (or more) after they've expired. Sigh. I fail at grocery shopping. Which is pathetic since I work for a grocery store.
  
  7:Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of a bees?
  Bees? Because then I would run to a body of water and go underwater until they passed. Unless they didn't pass, in which case I'd drown.
  
  8:Do you have freckles?
  Not usually. Sometimes they appear in summer. I do have a tonnage of moles, though.
  
  9:Do you always smile for pictures?
  I suppose.
  
  10:What is your biggest pet peeve?
  People who are in front of me on line being slow. GRR.
  
  11:Do you ever count your steps when you walk?
  Sometimes.
  
  12:Have you ever peed in the woods?
  Not that I can recall. But maybe? I kinda think I would have remembered something like that, though.
  
  13:What about pooped in the woods?
  Pretty sure no.
  
  14:Do you ever dance even if there's no music playing?
  Sometimes. But then I feel silly so I go and find some music.
  
  15:Do you chew your pens and pencils?
  Occasionally.
  
  16:How many people have you slept with this week?
  One, if you count me. Two if you count my stuffed elephant. Otherwise...none. :(
  
  17:What size is your bed?
  Twin. It's the same bed I've had since I was about 4. Planning to buy a new one in the near future.
  
  18:What is your song of the week?
  Since it's Monday and I don't know what this question really means, I'll say, "Tuesday Afternoon," by the Moody Blues.
  
  19:Is it okay for guys to wear pink?
  NO!!!111! ALL MEN WHO DO SO MUST BE STONED TO DEATH IN THE VILLAGE SQUARE!!!!!!!!!!11

  
  20:Do you still watch cartoons?
  Sometimes. I watch a fair amount of anime also.
  
  21:Whats your least favorite movie?
  So far, The DaVinci Code. Awful. I'm sure there are others, but that's the first one that comes to mind.
  
  22:Where would you bury hidden treasure if you had some?
  I'm fairly certain this will never come up, so I haven't thought at all about it.
  
  23:What do you drink with dinner?
  Juice.
  
  24:What do you dip a chicken nugget in?
  Some kind of honey-mustard dressing.
  
  25:What is your favorite food?
  I'll say sushi because it's the first thing that comes into my head. Chicken nuggets are good too.
  
  26:What movies could you watch over and over and still love?
  Movies that I have watched more than once and do not hate include (but are not limited to) the following: Back to the Future, Major League, Iron Man, The Lion King, and The Incredibles. There are others. I don't watch them over and over and over in a row, but I have watched them multiple times.
  
  27:Last person you kissed/kissed you?
  Oh, sure, depress the single person by asking a question I don't know the answer to. :P
  
  28:Were you ever a boy/girl scout?
  I was a girl scout until about 5th grade, I think. Maybe later. The rest of the girls in my troop went to Catholic school, which got out at 2:30, so they started their meetings at 2:45. I went to public school and didn't get out until 3. They refused to alter their meeting time to accommodate my schedule. Thus ended my scouting career. Dramatic Sigh.
  
  29:Would you ever strip or pose nude in a magazine?
  I can't imagine that a magazine would ever want me to...
  
  30:When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper?
  Looooong time ago.
  
  31:Can you change the oil on a car?
  Nope. Which is why I pay the nice folks at STS.
  
  32:Ever gotten a speeding ticket?
  Nope.
  
  33:Ever ran out of gas?
  No.

  
  34:Favorite kind of sandwich?
  Ham & Cheese. The variety of cheese and ham can vary.
  
  35:Best thing to eat for breakfast?
  I don't usually eat breakfast. I like breakfast sandwiches. Or bagels. Maybe with lox. Maybe I should get a bagel and some lox. They sell both at the supermarket near me. This survey is making me hungry.
  
  36:What is your usual bedtime?
  Sometime between 10:30 and 11:30 on weeknights. Weekends, who knows?
  
  37:Are you lazy?
  Duh. I'm on Xanga instead of doing something productive.
  
  38:When you were a kid, what did you dress up as for Halloween?
  I was a witch a few times, because we had the costume. In kindergarten I was Sister Bear from the Berenstein Bears, and according to my mother I was very upset that nobody at the library knew who I was supposed to be. The Library!
   
  39:What is your Chinese astrological sign?
  The rooster. Or shall we say, "The Cock?"
  
  40:How many languages can you speak?
  English, a teensy teensy (horrid) bit of French, a decent amount of Spanish (though I'm rusty) and a moderate amount of Japanese (though I don't read well). So, four. I'd like to learn more at some point.
  
  41:Do you have any magazine subscriptions?
  No. Why would I?
  
  42:Which are better Lego or Lincoln Logs?
  Legos are AWESOME.
  
  43:Are you stubborn?
  I can be.
  
  44:Who is better...Leno or Letterman?
  I haven't watched either in a while. I used to really like Letterman. Although I do like the "Headlines" segment on the Leno show, although he only does them one night a week. Dave wins simply because of the Top Ten, assuming he's still doing that.

  
  45:Ever watch soap operas?
  Nope. I tried a few times but since there was no one to explain to me what was going on, I was completely lost.
  
  46:Are you afraid of heights?
  Not usually.
  
  47:Do you sing in the car?
  When I'm in a good mood.
  
  48:Do you sing in the shower?
  Sometimes. More often I'll hum.
  
  49:Do you dance in the car?
  Sometimes.
  
  50:Ever used a gun?
  Only a BB gun. I was a pretty darn good sharpshooter though. That and when we did archery. Wouldn't think I would be considering my vision is horrid.
  
  51:Last time you got a portrait taken by a photographer?
  Assuming you mean a professional and not just a random individual with a camera, probably my senior pictures from high school.
  
  52:Do you think musicals are cheesy?
  Yes. Very.
  
  53:Is Christmas stressful?
  Sometimes.
  
  54:Ever eat a pierogi?
  Yes I love pierogies. :)

  
  55:Favorite type of fruit pie?
  Pumpkin, if pumpkin counts as a fruit. Otherwise I guess apple, as long as it's hot and there's ice cream on the side.
  
  56:Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid?
  Apparently, a Mommy, if what I wrote in a book is the truth. Also toyed with: Teacher, Astronaut, Cashier, Librarian.
  
  57:Do you believe in ghosts?
  Meh. I don't discount the idea but I'm not convinced and I've never experienced anything that seemed to be that way to me.
  
  58:Ever have a Deja-vu feeling?
  Sometimes.
  
  59:Take a vitamin daily?
  Assuming I remember to.
  
  60:Wear slippers?
  I don't own any.

  No, even though I do own one of those.
  
  62:What do you wear to bed?
  pajamas.
  
  63:First concert?
  When I was in high school I went to 3 different concerts. Dunno which came first. Lilith Fair, Paul Simon & Bob Dylan, and Barenaked Ladies.

  Target. Kmart is the second choice. I don't go to Wally World unless I absolutely have to - like I'm tied up and dragged inside.

  My current sneakers are Easy Spirit.

  Cheetos. Fritos are gross. :P
  
  67:Peanuts or Sunflower seeds?
  Peanuts. Sunflower seeds are like nothing. Why bother?
   
  68:Ever hear of the group Tres Bien?
  No. I guess they're tres bien? HAHAHAHAH that wasn't funny.
  
  69:Ever take dance lessons?
  Yes. When I was a kid I took gymnastics and one summer they didn't offer that but my mom wanted me to take something anyway so I took jazz. I don't remember anything that I learned. I really kinda wanted to take tap so I could get the awesome shoes but my mom didn't go for that.
  
  70:Is there a profession you picture your future spouse doing?
  Is Millionaire Philanthropist a profession?
  
  71:Can you curl your tongue?
  Yup.
  
  72:Ever won a spelling bee?
  In second grade. Since then my skills have declined. Thanks, spell check!

  I think so.

  One or two.

  Not a good one. The only working one is my sister's "Fisher Price". It's been on my list of things to buy for about ten years.

  Yes.

  I dunno. Someone good.
  

  
  79:What was the last concert you saw?
  Crosby, Stills, & Nash. In Saratoga, NY, August 2001. Also known as the middle of nowhere. It was pretty good. Since then I've been to some classical concerts.

  Hot. Iced tea is gross.
  
  81:Tea or coffee?
  Tough one. See, I'm not that fond of tea. But I don't like coffee. I'll drink lattes and stuff but not plain coffee. So if by coffee you mean plain coffee then I'll take tea. And I'd prefer if it was flavored tea because regular tea is boring and tastes like hot water.
  
  82:Sugar cookies or snickerdoodles?
  I forget what snickerdoodles are. But I know sugar cookies are boring so I'll pick snickerdoodles.
  
  83:Can you swim well?
  Depends on what you mean by "well." I haven't drowned yet.

  Yes.
  
  85:Are you patient?
  Sometimes. Depends on my mood.

  I think live music would be awesome. Assuming they didn't suck.

  Yes.

  No.

  Ick. Both are gross. :P

  Yes, I can crochet. I tried knitting once or twice and I suck.

  I dunno, let's have one in every single room. (except maybe the bathroom) I've never had one. :)

  Okay. Why, are you asking? ;)

  Negative one hundred years.

  I had a couple. Most of them wore off when I realized that the guy was a jerk. Because all the guys in my high school were jerks.

  No.

  No.

  Maybe.
  
  98:Whats your favorite color?
  Teal. or Turquoise. Anything in the blue-green spectrum.
